If you are like most of the users in the district, you use PDFs a lot during your line of work. This document is meant to give you some advice for doing that well.
First off, one of the most important things that you can do, if you use PDFs regularly (and who doesn't?!), is to make sure that a PDF viewer is installed on your computer. Using your internet browser for viewing PDFs will not give you the best results.
I would suggest downloading and installing Adobe Reader on your computer. It is the best PDF viewer around, and it is a free download. I would however advise you to pay attention during the install, since Adobe will sometimes attempt to install other software that you don't need.
For the best experience in viewing and printing PDFs, you should always download your PDFs and then open them with your PDF viewer, rather than trying to use your internet browser for viewing and printing PDFs. I can guarantee that you will have problems viewing and printing PDFs if you use your internet browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.), since these programs are not built to handle the PDF format properly.
If you follow the directions above and are still having problems with PDFs, I can happily assist you. However, if you haven't followed the directions above and you want me to help you, I am going to be a little irritated.
